This paper presents a Python-based simulation technique that can be used to predict the behavior of switch-mode non-isolated (SMNI) DC-DC converters operating in closed loop. The proposed implemented an open-source numerical computation software, such as Scilab, Octave or Python, which makes it versatile and portable. software will implement is since programming language, unlike MATLAB, one most-used numeric computing platforms simulate this type system. requires discretization equations govern open-loop operation converter, well transfer function controller. To simplify implementation technique, code must subdivided into different modules, together form package. converter under analysis buck CCM. extended any other SMNI converter. validation carried out by comparing with results obtained LTspice.
